Please be kind to our environment. Use electricity, air conditioning and water carefully to avoid waste and please do not litter.
Sea turtles frequently visit our beach. Do not interfere with a turtle laying eggs. In the summer turtle hatches do occur. In the evening you may assist these young ones to the sea. Sometimes the artificial lights confuse them. If, by chance, you witness a daylight hatch, capture the small turtles and release them in the evening so they stand a better chance against large fish. If a daylight hatch occurs, let our staff know. They will make arrangements for their care until evening.
Whale sharks (Tiburon Ballena or Dominos in Spanish) can be seen over the summer months nearby off the islands of Isla Mujers or Holbox. There are tours that will take you
to see and swim with these magnificent creatures in Cancun (near Puerto Juarez) and Holbox.
